Songs and music for special needs

19 May – General session – no costume

Edited version of tune list May 5, original was 21 April.

E = exercise tune - Other ideas needed.

All in this lower table - 45 to 52 right  -  played from 13 then finished with 44.

Other topics for possible discussion include:

  • New themes and my costume

  • Inclusion of Country and Western songs

  • Increasing the range of instruments used by carees.  I can make 9 maracas.  ((( I did)))

  • The mentioned topic of an event with wider audience  ((This hadn't materialised

More on New themes and my costume

·         Indian costume but repeat the cowboy tunes.  Arrive in canoe.  No lassoing.

·         Pirate – entry in galleon.  Red moustache/beard.  Skull & Xbones?

·         Spock – space ship.  Space music?  Daleks

·         Messing about on the river – rowing boat

Not on the sheet and added 7 July.

By now, the lists are considerably shorter.  Previously, one went in with one third to one half as much as might be played in half an hour.  Then, hopping was the method according to interpretation of reception.

In July 2015, the playlists numbered only twenty items and even then between five and eight weren't played.  It's important to have a good range and plenty to fall back on.  There's no time to wander into other lists within the system used.  Spotify of all names.
