- The tests are produced from early Nov 2015 and do not aim to imitate other tests
- There will be a range of ten/twenty-questions tests.
- Early tests will be within a single theme
- Later tests will be on more than one theme
- The Introductory test comprises mainly phrases with a few family-specific items. The G & S test is on that specific song and music which we have much enjoyed together - we have performed in the operettas
- Some will focus on general song and music
- others will focus on, say, shows, musicals, operetta and opera, even hymns
- well-known [not musical] phrases and sayings particular to the family
- words generally, sometimes literary, nursery rhymes, catch phrases, word-endings competitions, syncopation ( a shifting of the normal stress or accent)
- news and current affairs including people
- people/events in history - including my wife's family here [I am the contact]
- our lives before marriage in 1962
- our lives together - places lived, important events, lesser family members, friends etc
- the use of photos, letters, diaries, books on our shelves etc
- Frequency and repeats yet to be considered - update 24 Feb 2016. Another test was completed recently. Completed inasmuch that seldom is a test carried out in one session.
- There is scope for using/developing non-family-specific tests for trial within any formal provision
- Two or three families could be selected to work with interested staff & AFH after he has carried out sufficient development of 12 to 19
Feb 24 2016 As opportunity presents itself, we will resume the activity in short sessions.
