- You put your DIY hat on, decide to buy some balloons in town or order a pack of 10 Punch Ball balloons. You produce lists of, say, fifteen questions etc.
- You then paint a ball with fifteen numbers.

Experiment with marker pens of the permanent variety. All members write their names on the next balloon. Use for:
- One of the 12.1 items - on separate occasions
- Who's going to make the tea? Whoever catches the ball sings out the person's name.
- remind us what we did last week?
- tell us what she/he would like to do next week?
- draw a silly picture on the flip chart?
- tell us the favourite thing we've done recently?
Don't forget to add names of new arrivals.

Add to your shopping list in 12.1. You may be better to buy balloons at the same time. The punch ball balloons - PBBs - in 11 are said to be robust and may be too heavy for swatting. It's good fun but not for too long.
When in town, don't forget a balloon inflater.

Take another PBB and paint four large arrows on it. Whoever catches it the right thumb rule applies, and sends it in the direction indicated.
A variation is when the arrow is level. Spin the ball on one finger! Good fun! Depends on density of the ball. Balloons cannot serve this purpose. The opposite from 14 applies. The PPB may be too light to spin. Experiment.
