Inevitably, those who embark on finding out what is available to carers will look at what is on their doorstep. Their GP surgery will be high on the list. Many carees have specific situations and Special Education Needs - SEN or Dementia groups are just two examples of a wide range of what is available.
The word "provision" wasn't used in the last sentence. Dementia groups and similar are likely to exist on a voluntary basis. There are SEN groups set up on the Internet.
